Preface

There's too much complicated legal jargon and beaurocracy in the world. We'll do our best to keep things simple, clear, and concise here.

Inline Disclosure

We do our best to inform you directly when and where you enter data on our website about how we use it.

For example, have a look at the email form at the bottom of this webpage. Underneath it says, We keep your email private. One click unsubscribe 😊 This is the best practice we try to implement throughout our website.

There are limitations we face and we aren't perfect at this. If you do see a place on our website where you want better inline disclosures like this, reach out and let us know. Feel free to use the email address or phone number at the bottom of this webpage.

What We Collect And How We Use It

We collect information you give us, like your name, email address, website link, and profile picture, and any other details you choose to share.

We DO NOT ask for government ID, or any other sensitive legal and financial information. Our website does not require any of this kind of information from you.

We do collect credit card information, but only on our webpages that sell a service, product, or accept donations, and that credit card information never goes to us or our servers. It all goes securely and directly to Stripe, our payment processor.

We have, in the past, used Google Analytics and LinkedIn Insights. In both cases, we DO NOT have any private information of yours from those services. We collect population level statistics in order to understand broadly which countries our website visitors come from, which websites are leading them to us, what kinds of job titles our website visitors have, and more demographics that help us create a better experience for you and other website visitors.

We have also used simple user experience data of our own to learn how much of a particular video or podcast our visitors watch, which links get the most clicks, and other information about how our website is being used, so we can make it even more valuable to you and other website visitors.

We use OpenAI's APIs, including ChatGPT, so when you interact with A.I. systems on our website, your messages are securely transferred from our systems to OpenAI's.

In some of our online courses, if you choose to sign up for one, we publish your name, profile picture, and a link to your website as a display of course certification, or other accomplishment. Here are our ChatGPT courses: www.innovationbound.com/chatgpt-training

We do the same if you happen to be a guest on our podcast. Learn more about our podcast here: www.innovationbound.com/podcast.

Using Our Custom GPTs

We have a series of Custom GPTs available on ChatGPT. If you use those, some of them use OAuth certification to access your data upon your consent. Our Custom GPTs will always ask you first if you want to connect your application data to the Custom GPT. For example if you want our Custom GPT to send emails with your Gmail, or enter leads into your CRM (maybe Pipedrive), it'll need your permission first to connect to your account in Gmail or Pipedrive, or whatever other application you need to connect.

Your consent always comes before any integration happens or data is shared.

Keeping Your Information Safe

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third parties without your consent, except when required by law.

We're committed to keeping your information secure and will take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorized access.

We currently use Amazon Web Services as our website hosting service. Your data is stored and processed on Amazon's servers. You can learn more about their data protection practices by visiting the AWS Privacy Policy at aws.amazon.com/privacy.
